About The Artist

Syd Genco is a Chicago based freelance makeup artist. She has worked in many fields of makeup, including theatrical and SFX, professional headshots, commercials, and special events.  She began her work in the arts as an actress, where she discovered her love and flair for theatrical makeup looks. What began as a hobby, and favors to friends, soon grew larger and more exciting! To better serve her clientele, Syd trained and completed the certification program at the Make Up First School of Makeup Artistry in Chicago. She is the resident Makeup Artist for Chicago based theater company, Hell in a Handbag Productions, designing for their past 14 seasons of shows.
